Vasilis Tsiolis is an independent photographer born in Greece on 1987. He got involved with photography on 2012 and since then he is documenting daily life and works on personal projects about environment and humanitarian issues.
He has been selected as one of 30 new photographers from across Europe, Middle East & Africa to participate in modules one and two of the 2022 Canon Student Development Programme, he has been participant in 2022 Hamburg Portfolio Review and nominated for the 2020 World Press Photo Joop Swart Master Class in Amsterdam.
His photos and stories have been published in “The Guardian”, Greek and European press.
A selection of his work “The Historic Move” was exhibited at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre, organized by THE FENCE and he was also shortlisted on Young Greek Photographers submission category for the 23th edition of the Young Greek Photographers 2016 exhibition of the Athens Photo Festival.
